How I Perceive Education Profession
While different people have different perceptions of education professionalism, I perceive the education profession as the root of all other professions. The profession provides the most essential services to any society as compared to any other profession. It remains to be the backbone of other professions, and without it, all other professions would become extinct.
The teaching profession is the mother of all other professions; the foundation on which all other professions are built. This belief is based on the profession’s ability to mould and produce all-rounded individuals who in turn explore their potential and provide the necessary expertise required in other fields. Experts in all other professions are produced by the education profession. It acts as the guide to other professions; helping learners realize their competencies and potentials and major in areas where they have much interest on hence directing them to other professions based on their competencies and interests.
Education professionalism is a tool for social change for both individuals and society at large. Teachers play the role of change agents who initiate and stimulate positive change among learners. At an individual level, education helps in the eradication of ignorance by teaching children essential life principles at an early age. The effectiveness of this method in steering for change is that children rarely lose what they are taught in their early years unless they are mentally handicapped. It is through education professionalism where children learn their importance in society. In bringing social change, education is the stimulus while students are the recipients of change. Teachers are change agents.
Conclusively, the education profession is the most essential in terms of the importance of its services. It is the base on which all other professions stand. Due to its importance, government and other stakeholders should invest more in the profession as its effectiveness translates to effectiveness in all other professions.

Over All Reflection
When I heard that the first assignment was to create a teacher’s portfolio, I got worried and anxious because we used to do it on paper, and it took plenty of time to prepare. My overview is changed after the first class. I realized that I could do and enjoy it simultaneously as I like technology and am into everything related. I ran to my sisters and told them that now  I could make a business website for your business since their started their food truck last year, I was too happy about the assignment, and I enjoyed every second of it even I did not realize that finished it.
